He has sent me pictures of him and other soldiers fighting there.

he is a three star general in Israeli army and is christian lol. he has served for 40 years and is retiring.

i had broken sleep yesterday and during the night but it was at least 6 hours-incredible-still tired

i hope it keeps up Bobby. That is a start.

rats-don't think i am going to be able to sleep tonight at all. i tried.
right now i am making coffee.
I am still corresponding with my friend in Afghanistan. this is the first i wish i were younger.
He is retiring next week after 40 years. He is very religious. We feel such a strong connection to each other and it keeps getting stronger. i just can't at this point think it is a scam. my therapist upped next appt. to monday rather than waiting til friday. She knows I am in a dangerous spot. He keeps on telling me that he first when he is back in the states he is coming to me. today i gave him my phone number. All my friends are so concerned and worried. i am bipolar 2 which he knows and I guess if you were bipolar 2 also you are capable of creating a huge disaster instead just growing older gracefully.. I just feel strongly it is worth the risk if he means it and wants to come to meet an old lady who is also fat and has trouble walking. Boy do we laugh and find even more things in common.
definitely the wildest experience i have ever had in my entire strange life.

i didn't sleep. i spent a lot of time petting Pudge who really enjoyed it. her 400 dollar dematting haircut by the vet has made her life so much pleasant.
I hate to think she is over 16 years but the vet said she was very healthy and again no teeth were pulled.
I can't believe I have only know Ben for such a very short time. it would be so fantastic if we could stay friends.
On a profile he described himself as gentle and i am embarrassed that i have admit how amused i am about his saying he has no bad habits except killing the taliban. Egads.
I am very jealous that he says he easily gets by on two hours of sleep and is pushing it when he only gets 1 1/2 hours. I really can't believe it.
