I'm doing good. Just not enjoying the snow we got. But I am enjoying
the weather we have right now. Its been warmer and I enjoy this kind
of weather. I'm not sure why we are having so little bad weather,
but I'm hoping it continues.

I have very little going on so very little to say.

Hi Donna,
I'm pleased to read you're doing OK. I guess your Oncologist hasn't phoned you back after your last tests? If not then I would think of that as very reassuring.

Here's hoping that your good weather continues.
We had shocking weather a few weeks back and were expecting a cyclone/hurricane just after but then the low pressure system went east to sea towards Fiji. I have a terrible feeling that the devastating weather in New Zealand this week was from that same weather system when it headed south east. Now we have another heat wave. It is very unpleasant. I guess if it's not one thing, it's the other, or as the saying goes, be careful what you wish for, cause it might just happen.

Take it easy and enjoy your quiet time. We all need that sometimes. Hope the family are all well too.

take care,
Lara.

I'm guessing no call back from oncologist is good news too.

But I haven't heard about the being scheduled for a c scan in
2 months either. Which is fine I don't want it scheduled till
after the medicare goes into effect in April.

I have had a weird type headache today. I think I figured it out this
afternoon. It was weird because of it hurt at the ear and made my
head hurt. I'll have to keep a eye on this. Its honestly the first time
its gone so much as into a bad headache. But the ear has hurt before
then the head has been bad. So not sure why.

Derrick had Friday off because he worked last Wednesday so it was
a nice evening for me. We had a good Saturday and then
Sunday. I am still trying to figure out why its so nice here.

I am hoping by the end of February to be at 190. I am close to 195 right
now.

Yes, I broke 200 when I was in the hospital. It wasn't exactly the best
way to break it. But I waited till I was sure it wasn't just going to be
put back on till I posted that I was down. Thats when I celebrated.

When Dale and I had dinner with my sister and brother-in-law Dee and Walt
two Saturdays ago. She said that it looked like I had lost weight. So, I must
look like I do too.

So that felt good. I am really working on getting to the next level. Which,
for me will be I think 190. But I'm guessing it will take me a while. But
that is fine.

I have to eat different now. I can't drink any more diet or regular coke,
so, I am drinking tea, usually unsweetened, sometimes I drink a sweetened.
But I'll only do one. Then I found a big k Lemon-lime I love of sugar-free.
And Derrick and I buy those. I've been buying bagels and my big thing.
I buy that isn't exactly on a diet is my cream cheese.

I also have cottage cheese, Potato Salad, Hard Boiled eggs, I changed from
margarine to butter because it's better for my issues. I also usually have
yogurt, a couple of kinds, lactose free ice cream, sometimes regular ice cream.
And then I have started drinking some milk but not a lot.

I am eating just a little hamburger, but it has to be no grease, and I am waiting.
to go back to steak, it's been 2 months soon. I eat chicken, turkey and a few other meats.

Also I'm going to have a health coach I believe they are called from my husbands insurance company because of the problems I've had.
I then have to get the Diabetic program I can do set up at some point.

I will later this spring. I'm not ready yet, and If I read it correct I can.
have Derrick go with me. Which would be great.

Hi everyone,

Dale and I went out for lunch today. I had a steak the first since my hospitalization. Its been 2 months. I ate about 1/2 or less. But it taste
pretty good. It was that it started to get to were it started to taste
like it had spices or something on it. So I had to stop.

Dale ate the rest which is fine. I'll keep trying to see if I can add it back
into my menu.

I've had a good day.

Also Harmony had her surgery to clean the wax out of her ears. She also
got the tubes that were just stuck behind the wax out too. The doctor
also cut a small whole in the area that the tubes go so that if there is a need
for drainage. Since she needs this. She can have it.

She goes back in 4 weeks for a check up.

Also Kortni, Is having Sinus surgery on March 15th, I'm so glad she finally
has this scheduled. She will also get one of her ears repaired. I can't remember
what she called it.
She will then after its all healed go back and he is going to try and repair
her ear drum later. I'm so glad she finally has found someone she trust
to get this sinus surgery. She realizes how sick she will be and will need
help. But she finally is willing to get it done.
