My middle son Devin started a new job about two weeks to a month
ago. I didn't know much about the job. But Dale learned more last
week. He has a really nice job now. And the saying when one door
closes then another will open is so true.

He was in maintenance were he was at. Making I think about 19 a hour.
He now has the title of Environmental Services Director. And makes
about 50,000 a year on Salary. Anyway he is over a lot of areas now.

And even since they fired the last two bus drivers has to drive the bus
right now when they are taking the residents somewhere. He works
at an assisted living facility. And oversees lots of areas. He is behind
because the job was unfilled for a long time. So he is playing catch up.

But is happy were he is at know.

Bizi & Bobby

There are lots of jobs in the Lafayette area in Indiana. That are having
a really hard time being filled. Especially in the area of factories,
or things like this. I'm so happy he found something that is even
better than he was let go from. Because they didn't need him after over
10 years. Because they are going down in size. They just shut down
I believe 4 group homes and a few other things they used to have. So
his services weren't needed now. He was the last one hired.

I have been trying to stay out of the situation with him and my grandson
that has a mild to moderate disability. I need to figure out how to address
what he plans to do after he gets out of high school. Because he needs to
start working on the next plan. But I know his girl friend has decided
Will can do all this reading and things he can't and hasn't got the disability
he does. So I have been treading lightly. I find it interesting that just
about a month ago. Dale finally got a look at what is going on with them
and the way Will is sometimes treated.

Dear Donna,
I am glad that dale observed some of the behaviors.
The job that devin has is very stressful.

my girl friend did that job and it about really
did her in. she stepped down from the position

and is feeling much better about it now.

She can have a life with this new job,

less pay but money isn't every thing.

Happy for devin he is young right so he should
be able to make this work for awhile when
he has had more experience.
Best of luck for his success.
keep me updated ok?

Yes, He is 39 or 40 or so. I can't ever remember the ages exactly of the oldest two.
Heehee, only because of the years they were born. But he was born in
December of 83. So I'm pretty sure he is 39 or 40. Its because he was born
in December that makes it hard.

Dan has an October birthday and his year is 81, and he is 41. Because we
will have been married 42 years this month. I always get it confused. But
I'm sure that is right.

I honestly haven't heard how it was up there. They might have gotten
worse weather than we did in Lafayette. But it was back good on
Saturday. The northern area was the worst. But I'm hearing this
coming Friday we are expecting snow again. I think its our normal
march madness for our bad weather for our boys games when they
have to travel further for their tourneys. Some of the tourneys this
last weekend had to be postponed till tonight it was that bad.

And in Kokomo, they had to stop the game with 1minute and 30 seconds
left calling a winner, because they had to emergency's with people in
the audience needing ambulances. But the winner I believe was ahead
by about 30 points so it was okay.

Also the winning team and the host, were all clapping, for the two people
going out, who were the visiting team fans. And there was a lot of
people talking about how nice it was.

O'Charley's is getting ready to change there dress code. So we had to
go out and buy Derrick dark blue jeans today and a belt. And he needed
new socks too.

We also bought some other things we needed. His dog Doby hasn't been
feeling well, but has been better as the days go by. But we got him a new
bed today.

And some wet food for both dogs since they are almost out.
And some dry too.
