Hello, Friends,

I thought that I would start our weekend thread so everyone could talk about what they are up to and what is happening.

I hope that Nikko and her Mom are OK.


I have exactly 2 weeks until my parents come visit. My father used to visit me here and there, but my Mother hasn't been here in about 15 years. I'm not stressing -- really. The heck with it. I'm trying to keep down a few anger issues with them. . . .

I worried a bit about the people in the path of Hurricane Dean. Some of my students have families in Jamaica. And I know that people in Texas are watching the path carefully.

I am hoping that everyone in the path of Dean is ok too. Here we go again.

I am ok, but sleeping way too much. And when I am awake, I have no umph nor motivation. Everything seems way to hard. lol.

I hope to get enough get up and go to clean up the house and take a shower. If I get to my stuff I brought home from work, then I will be happy.

Dear Mrs. Bear,
I remember when I was a teenager I loved taking showers and would take three a day in the summer to cool off because we had no a/c.

Now the shower is a big hassle. I'd almost rather scrub floors than have to take a shower -- don't know what it is.

I hope that you find your umph.

Still not sure what is happening. They ordered a Echo gram of my mom's heart, should get that results today.

She had a rough night, talking to people that aren't there. All the Dr's are gathering all their specific data in each field and finding out what is going on.

Looks like the heart, at this point.

Going back to the hospital this afternoon to meet with one of the Dr's.

What a nightmare. Things don't look good at this point.

Mari, I hope that you don't stress out too much about your parents coming for a visit...this is a hard time for company with work restarting and all.
Nikko, sometimes people in the hospital get what they call "ICU psychosis". They talk and act out of there head due to the stress of being in the hospital...also I know that my father in law gets this same way when he has a bladder infection.
It sounds like the doctors are paying attention to her and are being thorough. I am sorry she/you are going thru this again...somemore...
Bear...((((HUGS))))) to you my dear! You must be needing the sleep/rest...have you felt like this for a long time?

I need to get going...had a luncheon with some friends today...one I had not seen, lost touch with...in 5 years at least.
My one friend had to have her hip replaced last year and now she is going to have the other hip replaced in a few weeks...she is very young! 44!!
Her hips died...scarey thing...don't know what happened to cause this....
I am going to try to do somethings to help her if I can.
I have been obcessing about hurricane dean...need to do something today.

Mari, it seems like the summer just whizzed by knowing that your parent's visit is only 2 weeks away.

Mrs. Bear, I am doing what you'd like to do today, housework.

Nikko, I will pray for your mom.

Bizi, I've been so busy I never did catch the name of the hurricane until this post so I'm going to try to be more mindful of keeping up with things from now on.

we honeymooned there 11 years ago.

Hi all. Hoping all are having a restful weekend.

And Nikko, you and your mom are in my thoughts and prayers. I realize just how stressful this is for you both. Wishing there was something I could do.

Mari sending you some hugs, Mrs bear some hugs for you, Bizi, you get some hugs too. Hmmm not sure did anyone else check in, oh well memory is not good hugs for all that read and post on this forum and have been godsent to me this year.

I have had a very rough time, and many of you have been here for me many times. I really appreciate it.

Derrick and I went to a very Cool workshop for Him yesterday call Champion of the Future or something close to that. He was the one it was for.

And he had a great time, it was well worth it. And my booth was great too.
I'm so glad I spent the 4 hours looking for the school, no one had a clue where Fishers Indiana was, and Indianapolis kept sending me the wrong way.

Ugh. Mapquest is a pain too.

So there, we beat the system. Oh well its a new day. And I will beat my demons one day.

Women's health has my ordeal of now, and I would like your prayers.

And doctors are my life right now, Asthma is up bad, presidone, and singulair are on right now. And 3 visit with asthma doctor in 5 weeks last friday, go back in two weeks to see if I am better. We will see.

I see my neuro on tuesday, and the primary on monday. Hmmmm, hopefully
I will see you too.

I read your concerns in womans health.
You are going thru alot of changes and health issues...you poor thing!
YOu are seeing someone soon right?
You should have some answers then

I hope your the problems you are having with your health will get better. I have real bad asthma myself.

Bizi, last I heard the hurricane would go to Mexico.

I am super sleepy today. I haven't slept good since last Tuesday night.
