I would definately see if your mom can stay in the rehab ward that week too.

I would want to be able to spend as much time doing things out running around as possible. The doctor and others can stretch her time if its asked.

Its also a thing that you can give her a reason to work harder at her therapy.

Even if she spends part of it in and part of it out doing things with you guys.

It's a hospital rehab, so the tenitive date for her to come home is this coming Wednesday. The plan was 10 days, and I think that is 10 days or so.

They are arranging for home help with PT and other things. Don't have all the exact info on that.

She is doing very well in rehab, so I really doubt they will keep her any longer.

It's only 6:45 am here, got up at 6am, having coffee, need to wake up more.

Looks like another nice day, so I will go to the hospital this morning, then hope to get to the pool for a couple of hours this afternoon again.

Running to and from the hospital is tiring for me. My mom is getting cranky about being in the hospital for over 3 wks now, guess I can't blame her for that. I would be too.

They keep her busy during the week, the weekends she has more time to herself, yet she still has PT and OT but only once a day. She is also getting Speech therapy, but that is mostly for her memory.

Hugs, Nikko

Have a great day!:)

Hoping things keep going so well.

I'm so glad she is doing so well. I'm glad to hear she will have help when
she comes home. Or that you will.

I would let her know that its that or she will need to worry about doing
things on her own more. You have to get back to your life.

Also I would think she could work it out to get out more if she gets used
to others there helping too.
