Hi,
I hope that the med change and further tests work out for you.

More stuff high in salt: cheese including cottage cheese, canned soup, canned tuna and anything else canned.

Thanks I hadn't thought of it as looking at the cans of food.

I was thinking I had to add salt to the food. Okay I have another way
to look at this. Thanks folks for the ideas.

Its because its supposed to help the blood pressure. I'm hoping it does.
So far I'm still having real issues with my problem, so much so I'm kind of
afraid to be driving. Which is not me.

So I'm being very careful and trying to make all my trips at once. But its
scarey I'm to go to Indy twice in teh next couple of weeks and its scaring
the heck out of me.

Once is for work, so I'm trying to figure out if I can get to the place they chose without going through town, it might be possible.

The other time though is to Riley Children's Hospital and this one is really scaring me.

Hi,
I'm sending prayers that you will have angels with you when you drive.

I drive a small honda insight and Big highways scare me with the semi's....
I-465 takes you around indy, I65 north and south I70 east and west.
If you give yourself some extra time that should help and you won't feel so rushed.

Yes, I already drive I-65 all the time, because thats how I come to RIley.

But its really something that bugs me. I'm just really watching myself.

I know that I didn't used to have this problem, so its really bothering me.

It even bothers me to drive just in Lafayette at some times. So when
I do have that problem I just get off the road and go window shopping
till I feel its okay again.

I always allow myself extra time. I just know that I've got one day
I wont have the extra time. I'm just going to have to let the supervisor
in charge that day, know that for unforseen reason, I'm possibly going
to be late.

Its not going to be something that I'm going to let her or my own supervisor
nag me about either.

I wish you luck with the drive, I hate driving long distances and we take the medical transport because it's just too much on us to drive it. We are lucky we can take it, I know some places might not offer medicaid transportation. I hope that the lessened dose of the blood pressure medicine starts to help you soon Donna, I am keeping you in my prayers. :)

We don't have medicaid. We have my husbands insurance.

But with that we are usually lucky. Other than right now I've already
paid out over $2,000 for me, and !200 for Derrick this year. Its a expensive
thing, but so good to have insurance. Thats my share.

Hi,

I had to increase my salt intake as well. Low blood pressure but also related to low adrenals.

The doc actually gave me salt tablets which i swallowed like a pill. Easy and you can get them over the internet. They are called thermotabs from www.numarklabs.com

But I found I liked sea salt better so I would inthe morning mix a 1/8 teaspoon of sea salt in my water or ice tea and drink it down. Not as bad tasting as regluar salt. Plus the sea salt has other trace minerals in it.

Hope that helps.
