Default Orthopedic Surgeon this morning

Another week - back to reality for me, my cousin left on Saturday, which has put me in the dumps. We had such a great time, and I really miss her.

I have an appt. with the Orthopedic Surgeon today, (had my MRI of my rotator cuff last Wed). I have to pick up the film and report and bring it to my appt.

I am so afraid he will say I need surgery, I just don't need that now. Not with my mom and all.

Hopefully he won't say that, and maybe I just need one of those killer shots, ouch they hurt. Plus I have a rotten chest cold and cough, it's wearing me down.

Sorry, just venting because I am a bit depressed and scared.

Hope you don't need surgery Nikko, hang in there and just see what the Dr has to say about what the MRI found or didn't find. I wish you felt better, being sick is so hard. Let us know how it goes!

Red face

I am sorry that you are feeling stressed and a bit anxious...good luck at the surgeons office today.
hope that the shot doesn't hurt as much as you remember it hurting.
I am so glad that you had a nice visit with your cousin.

Sending you hugs Nikko. And if you do need surgery. Then you get on the
phone and set up some type of help for your mom while your out getting
your surgery, and laid up okay.

Because its possible that the person could also help you if necessary too,
I would think after your surgery.

I'm a dreamer, if you need the surgery, then now while your mom needs help
from outside agencies and can get it is the best possible time.

I know it doesn't seem like it but think again on that.

But I'll go with the shot and hoping it doesn't hurt as much too.

But you know maybe he will suggest physical or Occupational Therapy
too. So maybe that is a option too.

Let us know how you make out You're probably saying "Who's this person, as I've been scarce everywhere!

Those shots hurt, but they always worked for me (in the shoulders, I mean!) Last week, I went to my OSS that did my surgery 5 yrs ago w/ my new set of MRIs which show all levels in lumbar have bulging discs, but the level right above the fusion is the worst. I've been having some awful pain there, and it goes thru my butt and into my hip - a shock-type of pain. I myself am having an ESI at that level L3/4, next Monday. I hope it helps me!!

Good luck with your visit!

Hi Jacquie! Hope things are getting better, it sounds like it from your couple of posts you've made, it's great to see you! Hang in there, you can get through that ESI and hopefully feel LESS pain soon.
