Heart Hopefully getting Jackie a new trike!

Thought I'd post some good news. I called Jackie's Med-WAiver coordinator and asked about getting him a tricycle for summer and she said it would be covered under durable medical goods, I am so excited! We won't know for sure until about two weeks from now when we'll hear if Med-Waiver approved or rejects getting one for my son.

Hopefully they will approve such a piece of equipment to help him lose weight and work on his balance. Here is a pic of the one he wants, basically we have no clue what it looks like yet, but I did some digging online and found this nice looking machine:

I can just see Jackie on one just like it, he wants a blue one so we're hoping he gets to choose the finish. Sometimes good things DO happen!

Thanks everyone! I just know this is going to help Jackie in a lot of ways, I already have bike pads and a helmet for him that we used on his old bike but it's just too small for him anymore and we couldn't find bigger then normal training wheels, so this was the next best thing, his dr. wrote a script for it (which I was kind of sweating to be honest) and now all that we have to do is wait for the Med-Waiver people to approve the purchase and it will be delivered right to the house!

WOO HOO!!!!
