Hello all! TGIF - What's happening with everyone? Any fun plans for the weekend? How is the weather where you are?
Check in - vent - talk - etc.......................

I really don't have any plans for the weekend, but that may change.
Today I just feel really BLAH............maybe my coffee hasn't kicked in yet, it's only 7:45am here. Weather is great, still warm during the day 80's, nights cool in the desert dropping to the 50's.

My arm is sore today, it was yesterday too, probably from driving the other day. My head is spinning about the GYN/ONCOLOGIST

A friend was supposed to come over today to do my hair color/trim, but she never called to confirm yesterday and I called her but didn't get her. I was going to have the cap on and pull through to put some light brown in my hair, so it would be highlighted on the blonde, hard to explain.

I guess I could go just get it trimmed, and just do my blonde roots myself as usual. I was just looking forward to somethig different.

Maybe she will call this morning, she was going to come at 1pm, but she was going to call yesterday to confirm and get directions to my house, so I doubt it.

Dirk mentioned some Rodeo Fair going on, so maybe we could go there tomorrow and walk around and see what it is all about.

Maybe today I will start my book "The Secret" I mentioned in another post.

I could just stay in bed, I know that's not good, but I have no energy, no motivation.

WEll I had a bad nites sleep hubby turned the down comfortor around to have the fluffy side at our heads and I was so hot...
so slept in later and am sitting here with a cup of coffee ignoring paper work that has piled up.
Need to do some of that .....
my house is filthy...need to clean, I have a friend who might be willing to clean, of course I would pay her to do that, maybe we could work together...the whole house is overwhelming to me and it really all needs a good cleaning, very dusty etc. The windows need washing and the doors as well on the outside.
Maybe I will call her today.
One of my hubbys graduate assistants is acting a bit paranoid and overly stressed, rambling and not making sense...he suggested he seek counseling. What else can he do...have him commited? He doesn't appear to be a danger to himself or others but needs help....so that is not an option.
I suggested we take him out for dinner tonight maybe he will talk out some things....we will see.
Have plans to help watch my friends girl while she has an open house on sunday...looks like gorgous weather again!
I need to get going.

Hi,

I really hope that I stay home and relax and recover this weekend. I need to stay home, see no one, and do close to nothing. That's where I am right now.

Sometimes I can handle going to the grocery store, but I am sure that I don't want to go out to eat -- and hope that hubby is ok about not going to his fav stupid restaurant.

Even before I got bp, I hated restaurants. I am sure that this goes back to childhood, but who heck needs to explore all this stuff. I just accept that one -- it's kind of weird and who wants to explore EVERYTHING in therapy???

I can usually deal with take out food but really hate sitting in a restaurant and seeing other people. I especially hate dealing with a waiter/waitress. Sometimes, I don't even want to get take out. I hate dealing with the stupid people messing with my food.

I remember a long time ago liking to go to an all night hamburger place with my girlfriend, letting her do the ordering, and then sitting there and eating our burgers by ourselves with no one else in the place. I liked that sometimes . . . .

Otherwise, restaurants weird me out.
I'll ask hubby if he can cook this weekend.
That relaxes him and he maybe he won't miss the restaurant.
Sometimes he sort of forgets that he likes to cook and I have to come up with a plan for him.

I love going out to eat.
But sometimes I like to cook too.
today I picked up a muffaletta sandwich(which is round and has ham, salami, provolone cheese and an olive mixture) for my hubby and I to eat at home...it was very good if you like olives which I do!
It seems like planning meals and grocery shopping are too much these days...so I run to the store every other night...
that gets expensive!
eating well is expensive too.
I should be in bed....

Didn't get out of bed until 11:00 again. Hubby tried to wake me up by calling me and the dog lazy. Thanks honey. sigh

It's cold and rainy outside and my body says ouch, sleep. I have been in a firbro flare for 3 weeks now. Longest ever. I am so tired.

And guess what!! Suprise suprise. I am getting a cold. How danged funny is that? 4 months sick now. Another record.

My weekend? Catch up on accounting for work and clean the house. The kids are at dads. Sortof. The little one (ha-little, I mean younger) is at a friends and Wes is at dads until tonight then they are both going to a favorite uncle's to play D&D.

I think I would rather stay in bed.

I am wishing I could attribute being ill and in pain to being part of the depression side of me. Then I could just up my anti-D and get well. But I'm not depressed. Not even a little. Nor am I really stressed. So that theory is out the window.

HAH. Maybe I am just lazy. Lazy immune system. Lol

My girlfriend ended up calling and coming over yesterday to do my hair, I had cut off some, so it is so much nicer. She colored it, and put a light pull thing on the cap, so we didn't go drastic

She even cut my mom's hair, and is coming over tomorrow with her boyfriend, so the guys can watch football, and she is going to color my mom's hair.

Then we are going to cook some steaks on the grill.

I love my HAIR> made me feel so much better, we had a great afternoon.

Happy Sunday................it's going to be 92 today, I think Dirk is going to the pool to meet our friend Ruben, I may go down for awhile, he wants to be back for the Detroit game at 5pm our time.

Last night Dirk and I played Monopoly, then some Poker and BlackJack, then took a nice relaxing jacuzzi. I didn't put too many bubbles in this time, LOL

I feel so gooddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd

WE jsut got a new key board and mouse ours was awful!
This is so nice...and the clicker is great! a bit loud but will get used to this. Thank goodness hubby knows how to do all of these things.
My neighbor came over and we visited. She is all about making things right for her hubby who is having chemo for his inoperable pancreatic cancer.
It is amazing...they have already talked about flying to switzerland if the pain management doctors don't help his pain.
They have legalized euthinasia there.
i have never had conversations this open about someone dieing....
I sure hope that they can get his pain under control.
It was a lovely day today.
Should be nice tomorrow as well.

spent time wiht my girl friend and baby today.
