Default Today's Appt. And a rant, then some news about job

Okay the GI doctor was very helpful I think. Or hope. Not that I'm looking forward to the testing to come. But if it gives answers then.

First I have a CT scan of my abdomin scheduled for Monday afternoon, I have been telling my primary and others that would listen that I have pain.
But primary said, it was just the ribs. I didn't think so. He doesn't seem
to think so either. But didn't elaborate.

Next I have to get somewhere to have blood work done too.

Then I have a colonoscopy scheduled. Both ways, yeck.

Now for the rant, I am so tired of having to justify why I need the testing
to my husband. I made the comment that if he wants a doctor that does this stuff, but not the one my son went to. Then I have a name for him.

WEll then I said, I'm having a colonoscopy the week of thanksgiving. Didn't bother to say I have one both ways, or that I have to have a driver. Will
work that one out that week. I can handle it if he wont take off. I've done
it before, so will again. My son's can work this out for me or their ladies with some other help I hope.

ANyway, he says well if you enjoy spending money then. I have told him I don't know how many times. That this year I've got all my bills paid the rest of this year. And that I really just want to know what is wrong. He just is so sure its in my head. And I'm costing him money, well gosh its my money, not his. Anyway, I'm doing it, I need answers, I'm tired of not being able to walk or to move without being able to breath or feel good.

And then for my job. I got a call from my supervisor yesterday. It always scares me to find a message on my machine from her. So I was so glad I had time to call her without waiting till another day. So I said, what have I done now.

She says, with a laugh. Donna, you always think you did something, I siaid, You know me Sally, I always worry. So she said, Donna what you have done
is this.

How would you like another county. We want you to take on Carroll county and we are adding 5 hours to your week. I got back my 5 hours. And there might be more later it seems. Someone is maybe leaving and its the area I wanted so we will see.

Donna

Dear Donna,
Thanks for the up date.
YOur hubby makes me mad...how he is not supporting you thru all of this.

I do hope they give you some answers for all of this.
It is your body and responsibility to care for it...who else is going to take care of you but you!
Congratulations for the increased hours again and hopefully more later if that is what you are hoping for.
((((((HUGS)))))

Dear Donna,

That is good news about the job. You have been talking about wanting those extra hours.

Husbands sometimes cannot be explained. Maybe he is one who likes to solve things and when he can't he gets frustrated.

Good luck with your tests. You have some drs on your team now.

Dear Donna,

I am happy about more hours on your job, that's what you wanted and needed.

Sorry to hear you have more testing, but better to be safe than sorry.

Your husband isn't LISTENING, makes me upset He needs to listen to be supportive of you.

Good Luck, Hang in there, better things await.

Hugs, Nikko
