I am really really anxious about my appt. on Wed with this Gyn/Oncologist, besides the fact it is a new doctor, I hope I feel at ease with her.

I have to go, but the though of it makes me cringe. What is she going to do, or say.

I just started with a new doctor 2-3 weeks ago. She's very pleasant and very smart.

She actually ordered some testing to be done that's never been done before. And, she discovered what she thinks is a cyst in my breast (I go for the testing on that tomorrow).

I hope you and your new doc 'click' immediately like me and my new doc did

I think some of the newer doctors are better because they're not so set in their ways and they've been exposed to some of the newer technologies and the newer beliefs.

((((((Nikko)))))), you attract good people to you because that's what YOU are -->> good Trust that The Universe will link you up with a doctor that will be GOOD for you. I BELIEVE that.

I'm going in the afternoon, when are you going?? Maybe we can send each other healing waves of energy while we're there -- can't hurt

can you call her head nurse and ask what the normal procedure is for a new patient?

I go Wednesday afternoon........Yes, I think I will call tomorrow, I had a bunch of paperwork I had to fill out to bring with me.

I have to be there a 1/2 hour early, I remember the girl saying the Dr. talks with you for about 60 min. when you get there after the paperwork looked over or something. WOW

I just want to have my say in whatever is happening.

I wanted to add to the fact of the hour consult before things.

I have a woman primary, I chose her because of the way she talked
to my mother-in-law. And answered her questions, but she then
moved away from that clinic. My MIL refused to move with her, even
though many of us tried so hard to get her too.

But I made a appointment, when she moved. And she didn't remember
me right away. I explained after we started why I chose her. And of
course, she had already chosen to stay with her routine.

But she is still just the same caring happy go lucky, very through lady.
She also is very good about putting me at ease before starting, she
realizes I have a high anxiety level. And she always ask the questions
about the family and how they are.

But my first visit she said, how do you not have anxiety and stress with
all your family stuff. I said, I am in the believe I do. I just deal with it.

ANd she offered me help if I wanted it,or to just listen if I needed that
instead.

SHe is still there for me, but so busy sometimes I think I need a number
to get a appointment.
