Default So far, so Good

So far, (except for a week or two earlier in the month) I am feeling pretty good about the holidays, well especially Xmas. New Years Eve too.

That is not the norm for me. Been busy too, shopping and and decorating and all that jazz.

I am going to start speaking for the Domestic Violence place I go to. Since I have been in counseling for over a year, it's time to give back. I only have to speak about my experiences with my ex. If it helps one person, it will be worth it. To be able to say, you can get out of abusive realtionship, all the resources, and how I survived it all.

I have another plan, looking into online class's for some type of animal training/assistance. Otherwise, I will just volunteer when I can at the HSUS here in town.

That is my plans for January, looking into everything now. I just worry, everytime I decide to do something or even go away back East, it never happens because my mom get's ill again.

So, I hope I feel this way forever, but I know I will have my trigger's and days, but hope to get through them easier.

Merry Christmas to all, and a very Happy, Healthy New Year.

I am glad you are feeling good. Especially about giving back to the DV place. That is wonderful. I am proud of you.

Thanks you all. I really hope for a good 2008 for all of us.

I hope to accomplish what I have planned, no matter how long it takes.

I am thankful for many things. I now feel the need to do something about it.

To give back, if only my time at HSUS, my speaking for DV, it will help some how, someway, somebody or some animals.

Laugh

Thanks all.....................

I am doing a lot of research online for courses to take for animal care.

But if I have to start at the Humane Society picking up poop and cleaning, that's a foot in the door. Walking and feeding the dogs would be great too.

Since it will be volunteer, I suppose that is what I will be doing, not sure.

I'd like to be able to get into the animal behavior, where when a dog comes in, they put it through some training, to see if the dog is agresssive and gets along with other dogs, or timid, well trained and all that kind of stuff.

Dear Nikko,
You are doing great.
