Default WHY BrainTalk Crashed

Hi, Everyone. Sorry for the deceit inherent in the title, since I actually know nothing about the phenomenon. However, I am very curious.

I posted a thread entitled, "The Why & How & 'How Come So Long?' of the Braintalk Crash", in the "Community & Forum Feedback" section of Braintalk2 to vacuum up all the information out there on the topic. On the other hand, if there is a BP who wishes to share privileged information here, entre nous please feel free.

In other words, as Alice Roosevelt Longworth had monogramed on a throw pillow, "If you don't have anything nice to say about anyone, come over here and sit by me."

No one knows why BT crashed. John Lester probably knows why, but he hasn't shared that information with anyone else as far as I know.

As to why it took so long for it to come back online.... again, only John Lester truly knows the answer to that, and the only thing he has said publicly is that he doesn't/didn't have enough time.

I saw on another thread where you asked something about if John Lester doesn't have enough time, why doesn't he pass the controls to someone who does.... again, only he can answer that one, and I'm not even going to try to guess what his answer would be.

Now this forum (which for now is called BT2 but will have a new name soon) has a leader (DocJohn) and a co-leader (kimmydawn) who both devote tons of time and energy to the site.... along with a moderator team who also devote lots of time and energy to work with members.

Somewhere in forum feedback is a post from DocJohn about the actual physical server and how it works and how it is maintained and backed up so that any downtime would be very rare and very short.
