Trig Disgusto Thread #1

I wonder why I forget that I usually .... after the holidays and why I would expect it to be different this year.
I wonder why I can't seem to use my head and get off the computer when I should be in bed trying to sleep....
I wonder at how I could not get up this morning and missed work....
I wonder about my girl friends 15 month old baby girl has green diarhea....
she is having a scope done on wednesday...poor baby....anyone ever see this before?

~~I wonder if it was just a case of too much creamed spinach for baby?

^_^ 'cause yes, I have seen much green baby poo. *ROFLMAO!!* You would too if your mom was fond of giving your baby siblings spinach and peas and other green foods during the diaper-changing years!

~~I wonder how Waves is doing?

~~I wonder if I'll ever get back on my feet again? This fretting routine is getting old.

~~I wonder what on earth earned me such karma as this past year, and what I ought to do about it?

~~I wonder when my W-2's will come in so I can go ahead and do my taxes? (There ought to be a little coming back to me this year...I hope, I hope, I hope.)

~~I wonder if I could go live in Brazil with some backcountry tribe and forget the 21st century even existed? I'd be willing to learn their language and follow their customs.

Seen my share of green baby poo too. I wonder about bacteria die off or too much bile.

But I wonder about GF diets too.

I wonder if I will ever get to leave work tonight? Maybe now?

Stupid fax machine. nope.

Red face

HI bear,
I mentioned Gluten allergies to my friend...she said that they were running a bunch of tests and that the results might take a week or 2.
WE went to go feed ducks yesterday and Gillian the baby ate a lot of bread...so we will see how that goes.
I don't know how much gluten one has to eat to start having symptoms?

I wonder if anyone will mind if I wax Ceilac Sprue like for a sec.

Gluten intolerance is more like Lactose intolerance and symptoms will show around meal times were one has consumed the offending food.

Celiac is an autoimmune disorder and the symptoms are wide and various. The big give away in an infant is "failure to thrive". Low weight, short stature. Doesn't score very well on the charts. A child in an accute phase will resemble those poor little starving children you see on tv. Teeny little arms and legs and you can see every rib, but their little tummies are distended. Other symptoms are vomiting, diareha (sp), accute gastro pain (infants will scream and pull their knees to their chests), seizures, neuro syptoms like tremmors or dystonia. Very wide array. The only non-invasive way to discern a true Celiac is iGg, IGg and some combo of both that I cannot remmember for the life of me right now. Cara would know. Once there is a positive in those blood tests, you have to scope the child up and down and take biopsies of the intestine to see if the villa are damaged.

Once you know Celiac is present, you go gluten free. Which becomes second nature after awhile. But if it gets to that point, I would suggest the whole house hold goes gluten free because cross contamination is a ***** to control.

thank you all once again for this brief interuption in the signal.....

anytime babies are mentioned...it's bound to happen. they have this strange habit of leaking from both ends.

acodophilous. or something like that. or eat a banana. it will bind you up.
