Trig No pictures please

When my ex-husband 1st passed I dug up a few pictures I have of him to look at and to post on his Guestbook. Now though I can not bear the thought of seeing a picture of him as it will make me cry. Some think because a person is divorced that the one who survives the other one doesn't have feelings for their ex. You would be surprised at the type of response like that I have gotten in my time of grief. I am here to say that it does hurt and it hurts like hell. I had a history with my ex, I lived with him day in and day out for over 12 years. We were not divorced that long. He was a tortoured soul to do the things he did to me but I know in my heart that God has forgiven him and he is in heaven. One of these days I will feel comfortable enough to look at the pictures I have of my husband again like I felt after a long while when my mom passed. For now though, no pictures please.
