Default I like my new pulmonary Doctor

Okay she is going to be a good doctor but its going to be a very rough
time waiting on what it really might be. She says if it was asthma, that
asthma starts in children, and asthma is usually easy to control.

And that it usually doesn't keep getting worse. So she has scheduled one
test and a return visit. But of course the office to do the test was closed
by the time my visit was over, and when the guy called this morning I was
sleeping. Or trying to.

So I still don't have a date or time. And I do know that both are on same
day. Originally the return visit was in 3 months, but I didn't know that till
I walked out to get a appointment after waiting out there till she was done
with my chart and located everything that was missing.

And she is talking a ENT that specializes in cough. And I"m not sure what
else.

Say it seems like something else not asthma, but asthma may be involved.

Ugh I hate waiting even more.

Donna,

I have acid reflux that has me coughing. Could this be in your case?

Barb

That is one of the things this pulmonary is wondering. But I have a GI doctor
that has me on asacol, and I really have no acid reflux.
I also take prevacid daily. Now the generic for it.

But its really hard to know, I don't like spicy, hot or even just anything
much more than a bland food.

I don't like things salted or peppered that much. And I don't eat ketchup, mustard, or usually anything, but maybe barbecue sauce.

Its a catch 22 I've always been this way. And its very much possible,
that I've always stayed away from those things for more than a taste
reason.

But till more things are done, there is no way of knowing.

Donna,
It sounds like you need to keep a notebook -- lots of info and stuff.
I hope that the new pulmonary is good for you.

Donna - it's a good thing that you like your Dr. that alone will help you feel more at ease.

I pray you get to the bottom of this and get some answers.
