So, I am getting the feeling from you here that these people are messing with me? How can they say I'm not bipolar? Someone suggested maybe I've just read the symptoms and therefore think I have them. Right. I was told I am bipolar by my primary doctor, then I get a book that seems like me - nearly ALL of it- for YEARS.... yet I'mnot bipolar. Why? Cuz I didn't try to climb the walls while I was at my apointment? :eyesroll:

There are different types of BP. It seems like these people have no clue of that.

Plus you are on meds, so you wouldn't be climbing the walls. I just say don't go back, never go to any DR or therapist, etc that you don't feel comfortable with.

Good Luck, Nikko

So really quick because I have to pick up the kids from school very soon...

My primary dr. was wonderful today. She said she is worried about the voices and the flying thinking -that they are not normal. She had me put the number to the psych. ER in my cell phone. She wants me to down my trazadone for the sleeping in late and see a social worker and in touch with her and to keep my appointment with the psychiatrist I saw Wednesday (not the boss lady that was the most irritating) and give it a chance. Always can switch after that. She said the voices are probably not from the medication and could be bipolar or something else but I gathered that's why she wished the psych. dr's would "get with it". She seems convinced I have bipolar and so do I, so what's wrong with the psych. dr's? I'm tired of being diagnosed with "major depression". Hearing things and smelling things that aren't there is not normal.

Now off to get the kids.

I agree with all the advice you got from people here.
These people don't sound educted aobut the types of bipolar and some of the things they said were downright STRANGE. I would try to forget what happened there. Not all psychiatrists or other doctors are equal. I went to a well respeced neurologist one time who told me I don't have fibro because my ear lobe didn't hurt. He said he learned in medical school to ask people if their ear lobe hurt when they complained that "everything hurts". Yikes!
YOU HAVE good senses about other people, and trust them....
And don't go back to anyone who makes you feel worse. !!!

Thank you, Coyote. :)

Oh and editing to say thank you to everybody else here too- don't mean to seem that I am not thankful for your time and thoughts too!
