I have been taking seroquel for several years. It did stop the committee meeting in my head and calms me quite a bit. I'm taking 23mg a day as needed because I'm going through a difficult time right now. On the negative side, it can cause weight gain........my pdoc said it's not known if it just increases the appetite, or what. It can also cause high blood sugar. Maybe you've seen the commercials on tv. so far, I've had NO serious side effects. The weight gain is yeilding some to diet, also.
so far, I give it thumbs up. |
