"What you think is private may not be"
I got a private therapist a long time after I had done all the release papers with voc rehab. Technically I thought because I never signed release papers for my private therapist to talk to my voc rehab. counselor that I could complain about Voc Rehab. and my stragety to get through it. Come to find out though that Voc Rehab. only authorized 4 therapy sessions to give them the legal right to my sessions with her. OCR (Office of Civil Rights) informed me of that fact that under section such and such voc rehab. can have access to my records since they paid for them. I was never told that my sessions would be discussed. I am so darn mad!
