Default Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween,

I wanted an excuse to use my smiiliey:

http://www.thesmilies.com/winking.php

Do you know what I remember from Halloween as a child?
Mom made us go to church on All Saint's Day and All Soul's Day: Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 Big church days for her. No trick or treating for us. She thought it was in poor taste, too much like begging.

We LOVE halloween!! It really stunk as a kid because I was diabetic and couldnt eat candy (back then the sugar free tasted worse then raw liver) but I used to dress up and pass out candy. With my kids we have a blast!! We all dress up and trick or treat, and then come home and eat a halloween style dinner (this year its going to be BRAINS!!! err, spegettii that has "eyeballs" designed out of meatballs, and gummy body parts thrown in for size.....i know i know but the kids think its awesome lol)

Headed back to the school for the afternoon "taste off portion" of halloween. Its a lot, A LOT different from the way public schools celebrate halloween, but they still enjoy it, and my son isnt over stimulated from all the chaos and excitement. (no costumes at school either)

Have a great halloween everyone! And mari you are hereby ORDERED to eat at least 30 pieces of halloween candy!!
