Default really and honestly feel like carp

Hi,
I fell asleep for 2 hours in front of the tv sort of waiting for hubby to come home.

Now I can't get to sleep.
(See post in Friday check in thread.)

I took my Klonopin and night meds but I am still upset and feel like I want to cry for a few hours.

I can't take more Klonopin because hubby and I are going to go out in the am and to get my purse (cell phone, driver's license, pass key to get past security in my apt complex,, . . )

I think that the past week was harder than I thought at the time.
I worked hard to be on time, wear a clean enough outfit, put on a happy face, be supportive, be a team player, be polite, be helpful and encouraging to students and colleagues who are freaking out, help some new colleagues who seem anxious and don't know the way of the place, work hard at not mouthing off to admin.. . .

Maybe I'll go read for awhile -- something that will relax me. (HA!)

Ugh. This past week sounds like a p.i.t.a. Any chance next week will have calmed down and be better?

Maybe you and hubby could go do something that you both would consider fun after you get your purse in the morning? Walk on the beach, window shopping, movie?

Don't your parents get there soon? That is probably not helping the stress level...wish I could help. I hope you were able to nod off for a bit after you posted this.

Hi,
I moved to the couch to try to sleep and got a few hours in.
. . . something about the couch. . . . it doesn't really count as "bed" so it is easier to sleep on bad nights.

'Felt all messed up and teary and jumpy /agitated all day until hubby and I got my purse back and I went to the acupuncturist.

Maybe I will go to bed now.

Parents will be here on Friday. Father has big plans for me to edit the book he is working on. He wants the editing done before he gets here so he and I can discuss it on the weekend .
Guess when he finally emailed me the chapters? Thursday -- day before yesterday! Yeah. I'll get right on that.

I did email some guy at work and told him that I could not be on his hugely high profile and time consuming committee. I have enough work to do and I don't want to be at a focal point.
And right now I am so relaxed that I don't care about the repercussions of that email.
