Default No one should Endear this

My heart aches for my boyfriend today. He lost his dad 16 days ago and now his mom's life is slipping away. I don't know what to do with myself cause I feel so bad for him. Please pray for him. I think the world of Chris.

I'll be going out to dinner with a girlfriend at 4 this afternoon. I can not drive my car because it did not pass inspection. Those darn crooks said it needed something I really don't need. My girlfreind will give a good diversion from hurting knowing how Chris is grieving now.

Awwww, that's too bad. Sorry about your car and your boyfriend.

Do have fun with your girlfriend today, Befuddled.

I'll be sure to include you in my prayers.

Red face

hi barbara, wonder if you could go somewhere else to have the inspection?
maybe they would not find the issue you question.

I'm so sorry about Chris' mom Barbara. You're both in my thoughts and prayers. I hope the dinner gave you a break from grieving

Thank you Bizi, Mari, and BP.

Chris will be taking my car to the shop he takes his truck to get inspected when he can get in there. Then we'll go see his mom.

Is the car insp for air quality & tags, DEQ?

Tips that work for our cars to pass DEQ testing -
these tips are for older cars without the computer diagnosis stuff.
but some may work for the newer cars too.

a basic tune up/ check up

new /clean air filter
oil is clean/ freshly changed
new spark plug wires
new O2 sensor

sometimes we put in some premium gas for the test

If you do a lot of slow /city driving take car out on a safe low traffic open road and drive it at hiway speeds to clean it out.

Thank you for the tips Jo. We don't have those type of inspections though. We have mechanical inspections like for brakes and lights and such.
