She went to the ER several days ago,and I haven't heard from her since. I'm worried about her.

I went to the hospital on Monday for bad headaches and I was dehydrated from not being able to keep anything down. I hadn’t slept for two days from the headache. They gave me fluids and my electrolytes were all out of balance. My heart was racing really fast and they said it was from being dehydrated. I was supposed to come home on Wednesday but I passed out while I was walking around the floor. My heart was racing really fast again. They did all these tests and said I have cardiac arrhythmia and it’s most likely from having the ECTs because the EKG they did before didn’t show anything.

They let me get out of there this morning and I have a cardiac holter on that I have to wear for 48 hrs and log my activities. The cardiac doc said he might put me on a beta blocker when he reads the machine. If the beta blockers don’t work I might need a pacemaker.

I don’t know who ever said you go into the hospital for a rest. I’ve been poked and prodded and being next to the nurse’s station I feel like I haven’t slept all week. I know my heart’s going to race now because I’m going to pick Hooper up as soon as my ride gets here. I bet her little heart will be racing as much as mine.

You have been through so much.
That's good that you have a cardiac holter on right now. I guess that they want to see a picture of what is going on.

The beta blockers can effect moods I think so make sure those heart docs talk to your pdoc.

I hope you get some rest.

I'm glad that you are home. Try to sleep. Put on some calming music,and try to sleep. We love you. BF

My pdoc visited me several times while I was in the hospital and once we sat down for about a half hour and just talked. And I really needed that. I finally told her what I wanted to. I thought I did when I went for my first ECT but didn't remember. She never really "touched" me before but she did this time and said I should have told her a long time ago instead of holding it in so long. She's helping me with the complaint.

This is all so scary to me because I lost both my mom and dad to heart attacks. It happened to me several times yesterday. I'm trying not to think about it but it's so hard to not pay attention to your heart. I just hope it's something easily fixed.

you continue to be such a brave woman.
I bet you feel releived to have told her...you really carried that burdon for too long. I am glad that she was so supportive to you and that she is helping you with the paperwork report.
I bet hooper girl is going to be so happy to see you.
I wore a haulter monitor a couple of years ago too. It was fine...so that should not cause you any problems.
