Default Hurricane Paloma on the way to Cayman Islands. Then on to Cuba.

The weather reports show that there is a category three Hurricane out in the gulf.
The people in Grand Cayman are in shelters prepared for the hit in the next few hours
Hurricane season should be over as far as I am concerned.

Hurricane Paloma exploded into a extremely dangerous Category 4 hurricane with 140 mph winds last night as it hammered the Cayman Islands. Paloma now ranks as the second most powerful November hurricane on record, and stands poised to deliver Cuba a devastating blow tonight. The latest data from the Hurricane Hunters and satellites indicate that Paloma has probably peaked in strength, and will slowly weaken today.

I think it is now a tropical storm.
It is supposed to be the end of hurricane season for crying out loud!!!!!

Pensacola FL got some rain tonight (Monday AM / August 17, 2009)
Quote:
PENSACOLA BEACH, Fla. - Claudette came ashore along the Florida coast early Monday, becoming the first tropical storm to strike the U.S. mainland this year after having already dumped heavy rain in some areas.

The storm was expected to weaken after hitting the eastern end of Santa Rosa Island at 1:10 a.m. ET, the National Hurricane Center said in a statement.

Claudette earlier had winds of at least 50 mph, but was not expected to cause significant flooding or wind damage

My anxiety is sky high because all it is is rain.

Rain this time of year makes me anxious.
I worry about other people affected by rain.

we have had terrible thunder and some rain monday and tuesday probably bands from the tropical storm that went to pensicola, I am going to try to not get so wrapped up in the weather again like I did last year. I was obcessed with the storms.
I am sorry mari that your anxiety is so high...it is understandable with all of the stressors in your life right now.
