Default ugh

is it just me ... is anyone else old enough to remember actuall chat rooms? places you could go where there were actual people actually talking? and you could go there and just say "hello I just need to talk to a real person" and they would talk? and you didn't have to wait for a moderater to say you could say hello ... or spend all day figureing out what topic you fit in? i actually miss pay by the minute internet i think.

Hello,
'Sorry that you are not finding the chat room here helpful.
Are you remember that old AOL?
I used to talk on there and rack huge bills.

Oh my goodness; the old AOL. I got it right after I upgraded from 3.1 to '95, and thought it was the most awesome thing since sliced bread. (OK till I got my first bill. THAT was not a happy day lol)

Anyone remember the games on AOL and how they would charge you $.99 an hour to play them? Dang slingo. I had my internet access pulled after I found that game lol.
