Thanks for the links!
They are actually quite helpful!
Thats a great idea about visiting our favorite places. Hubby is going to buy them each a disposable camera when we visit them, and then we can have them developed and put in their rooms.

I usually do like planning things, but this year I think CHristmas is going to be a quiet, family affair. I'm tired, and just dont have it in me to add more to my plate right now. We will probably just decorate the tree, cook up a storm, and enjoy the fireplace.

That sounds like a perfect plan.
You can look forward to being together around the fireplace.

We were also taught that we could come back sometime in the future and that good bye was not really good bye.

Thumbs up

Great news and unbelievable how fast it all happened, your so lucky with the way the things are now.

I lived on Long Island most of my life until we moved to Rhode Island as a teenager.

Are you going upstate NY or LI or someplace else?

I hope you love the house when you go to see it. Where do you live now?

I know you said your scared, but it's a good scared I think. Moving is exciting and the same time stressful.

That is great that all the packing will be done for you. Just mark the boxes for what room, and it will make it easier to unpack.

I am happy for you. It's nice to hear good news, and your happy.

Good Luck......Hugs, Nikko
