jsut wanted to let you guys know that I am going back into therapy.
I don't like myself.....

I think I am having an Identity crisis....it has been a long time in coming.

I am sorry this is happening to you. But hey maybe this will be an interesting way to discover YOU. Like an adventure? I do not understand what it is like to feel like that. I hope the therapist you see is of good help and makes you feel better. Bizi you are a very sweet friend to me since I have signed up here. And I have to tell you that I like you and I am glad you talk to me

you are the most wonderful kind and caring person and you need to discover that. You deserve to feel joy and I guess you haven't been. Be selective in the therapist you pick. You will be so rewarded when you rediscover what an incredible person you are and how bipolar hasn't taken an ounce away from that. Maybe you just have to learn to live better with the subtleties of being bipolar even though you haven't had any major incidents lately. Bipolar is a thief of life.

Maybe you just need a "vacation". I know I come back each fall renewed and fortified.

I certainly am not the person I was 10 yrs ago when I first started out on the net. Just that one thing changed my life considerably!

I called and received authorization for therapy and have researched who is on my plan.
I am thinking about going to a nurse practioner therapist.....
I think she might be just perfect for my identity issues.
I went to barnes and nobles tonight, searching thru all of the self help books and being overwhelmed...Adult child kept leaping out at me...I am emotionally immature for sure.... I have yet to take the emotional test...that should be inlightening...I am hoping that I can at least come in to meet with her with some ideas of where I want to go...some direction...just bought a small paper back book called:
If you meet the budda on the road, kill him....the pilgrimage of psychotherapy patients, " a grown-up can be no man's disciple" written in the 70's by shekdon Kopp, anyone read that?
So it was a productive day.
