It looks nice and vibrant!!!!! I have to tell you, I was in a depressed state also earlier this year. I started turning grey in my twenties, so I started dying my hair. Well at the rate my hair would grow, I was dying it almost every three weeks. Oh I tried auburn, then one that was sort of purplish, then went to black. Now when you go grey, or really white in my case, the roots really show up when you dye it black. So in my depressed state I went to the salon and told them to cut out all of the dyed hair. My hair was normally shoulder length, but I went to the extreme and I think I measured my strands at about 1 1/2 inches. Was my husband shocked. He looked at me like he didn't know who I was. Which immediately lifted my spirits, ha ha ha ha ha.

Mickey,

that's funny. How is your depression now?

I quit smoking a week ago. tODAY IS one of the hardest days. Once after my explosion I gave it up for 18 years. I aam using nicorette gum as an aid. Thank God my appetite hasn't increased. I have been really depressed so lately haven't had much of an appetite.
I keep on telling myself there are far more problems connected with smoking than not smoking. That seems to help me get through the minutes

Thank you Yellowfever.

Bobby, hang in there with not smoking. It will get easier.

Dear Bobby:
Would it be possible to have your housekeeper do some deep cleaning; like shampooing the furniture and carpets, and washing the drapes? I found that the first 6 months were increasingly harder if I even got the slightest wiff of a ciggerette.

A whole week! That's outstanding. Now you need to relearn how to enjoy a cup of coffee without a smoke, and change the other habbits that will make you miss them as well. (I had to quit taking the kids for long drives when i quit again because it was very hard for me to be in the car without a smoke in my fingers.)

You are doing great!! Take it 1 minute at a time.
