Sounds like a very frustrating and complicated. I felt that way when I was 19 years old. Having no mood, feeling anxious, and all sorts of stuff, then to absolutely nothing with no emotion on what so ever. The people around me thought I did not care about anyone. They thought I cared about nobody or anything I did. I did to a certain extent. But then I felt pure numbness because I was so mentally out of it from all the mental abuse I went through for 14 years of my life. Are you in an unhealthy environment?

Hi all

I'm not sure I've ever posted on this thread. But since Sharla has talked
to her doctor's RN, and is very comfortable with the medication now.

I'm going to chime in. I have only experience with lamictal as a seizure
medication, so I have really enjoyed reading this thread from the beginning
purely to understand some of the things Derrick has felt.

Now I have to tell you guys that it really strikes me, that I totally am
and have been correct about my feelings for the amount of Lamictal
that Derrick is and was on. No I am not talking about the dosage
anyone here is on.

See Derrick has been on this with a combo of other meds, and has
been either very close to high or maxed for years. He has been on
it for over 7 years, he started on it at 4th grade I believe. He
was at one point with two other meds on 600mg. Thankfully the
present doctor he has, listened and agreed with me that it was
the culprit to his seizures and problems, and started a reduction
in 6th or 7th grade and he went to 400mg.

He is now on 325mg, because I requested a reduction in Oct. he
was on 350mg, and having seizures I saw. And I was sure and
still am sure its the lamictal. I'm getting ready to ask for one
more reduction of 25mg.

So thank you for this thread.

And I hope this hasn't bothered anyone.

By the way his other meds are trileptal at 2400mg, zonegran 1250mg
and seroquel 50mg.

Now I really hate meds. And talk about memory loss.

donna I think the trileptal is too too high!
I was on this for a couple of years and my labs got way off balance when we tried to up the dose.
I have low natrimia, sodium, wbw, anemia, from the trileptala nd that was a dose of 1500mg. Now that was jsut me and I don't know his weight no size and I am no doc but I would think about the trileptal too.
just my 2 cents.

The dosage on the zonegran is totally in my head

but its 2 pills at 100 twice a day. And 2 pills at 25 twice a day, so I messed
that one up. I just couldn't think on the amount.

Its maxed and I kept thinking last night that isn't right but didn't
go check.

Its 450 a day.

Sharla

That is fantastic news. I'm so pleased to hear that.

I personally am glad things are turning around for you.

And thank you for the good thoughts on my health.

I should also state because I'm not sure I did my son takes
