Default Down in the Pits

I have been so depressed since Friday. I got a copy of my husband's death certificate this past Friday and it threw me into a depression. I thought I was better yesterday but today I have no interest in anything other than laying in bed. I long to have someone hold me but I have't had that in years. Well, except for that jerk I dated this past summer. He was so bad for me that he was no help at all but done worse to me.

These cold damp, short days are enough to make me depressed but with still grieving my ex it makes it a lot worse. I ordered Chinese food to try to perk me up but it didn't help.

It doesn't even feel like Thanksgiving is here this week. I just want to forgot about the Holidays and wake up when they're all over.

Barb

Sending you hugs. And wishing I were close enough to help you
through this.

I would love to find a way to send you some sunshine.

Sorry this is hard stuff this grieving.
You are allowed to spend the day in bed...your body sometimes tell you when you need to rest.

I am sorry it is so hard....

I feel for you. I know how hard the grieving process is, and how the Holiday's intensifies it.

I wish I had a magic cure. Sending many hugs and prayers.

I have been praying a lot lately, it helps.

Hugs, Nikko

Thank you Bizi, Nikko, and Donna. I am so glad that I stayed here at the apartments this Holiday instead of moving. It would have been too much to move with all I have going on.

It probably is some sort of final closure feelings, and the dreary weather doesn't help, or the stress from the neighbor.

I don't know if those full spectrum light bulbs work the same as the SAD {seasonal affective disorder} light bulbs but you might try that kind in a few of your lamps and see if it helps a little bit.

I did a quick search and found this site about them-

Thank you Jo,

I checked out the website and one of the ones shown would be good for my desk.

The sun came out today and I felt good enough to curl my hair and go out for a little while. I went grocery shopping and to the local bar for ice tea. Now I feel so much better.
