Question Weather and how whether it effects us

Hi,

How's your weather?
Cold or warm for this time of year?

Does weather change your eating or exercise habits?
How about mood or sleep?

I wonder why I watch weather reports.
Maybe it is because I want to watch tv but want to make sure I miss any actual news.

We had sweater weather in the morning and evening for two weeks or so. Next week will be warmer.

I have a friend who gets yearly projected weather reports from the
state agricultural department because he has a fish farm.
He says our state is expected to have the coldest winter in a long time -- but that will happen in Jan or Feb.

Every winter I worry about having the right clothes for work.
Is that normal? Don't you just wear the clothes from last winter?
I do not think that other people worry about this so much.

Red face

Well clothes are always an issue.
My weight fluctuates so much thruought the year that I never seem to have the right clothes for the right season at the right size...and I have 2 closets full of clothes but many are very large sizes and 10-15 years old that I never wear, I should gather them all up and donate them to the good will. I feel badly for spending good money on clothes that I don't wear. So am reluctant to buy new clothes.
It has been cold here, 30's at night and 50's during the day.
WE will be going to Indiana for the holidays and will find cold weather there, lake effect brings cooler temperatures up north....so we will have to bring warm clothing. UGH!

I like it cold except to do things outside when it is in the lower 30's. I think the days of the week affect me more. I'm almost always depressed on Sundays cause everyone are with their families and I'm alone more. But then I like Fridays cause there's no demands on me like taking care of business for the weekend.

Bizi,
My weight fluctuates too.
I tried to cleanse my closet of clothes that don't fit, but I held on to some so I have more cleansing to do again soon.
I also think that I am hard on my clothes.
They seem to wear out fast -- so something I wore last year is sometimes not appropriate anymore for a work outfit for this year. . . . or else it is just me and I hate my clothes. I buy them, get them home, and then think that they look awful.
Thanks for helping me think about that.

Buffudled,
I hear you about the days of the week.
I hate Sundays the most I think because I worry about what I need to get organized for the week ahead.
Sunday is the day I meet my friend at the gym. I think that we should change that because I get stressed out about meeting her at a certain time and then stopping to fill up for gas and meds on the way home . . . . maybe I should make Saturday my "busy errand" day instead of Sunday.

I got rid of clothes that didn't fit. And then seem to have no winter, really
winter for my Indiana weather.

BRrrrr. Its getting very cold here.

I really need to get with this. And then maybe I'll figure it out.
