Dear Bobby,
This sounds awful.
Is there anyone to call? Have you considered the ER?

Hi (((Morgy))) ...love your cute furbabies. I am sorry you have to deal with this. It is frightening indeed. Been there many times. No fun at all. Have you asked your doc about this? It does take a while for the AD's to work, and beginning to get your appetite back is a good sign. But I would still ask your doc about it. Sometimes there is a lot of trial and error to find the right one to work for you. If you don't find enough support here in this forum come on over to the SOS forum. There are lots of folks there who deal with this, and they can help. Take care (((BIG HUGS)))

Mari
I speak to my bipolar friend practically every day. She has been a Godsend. My psychiatrist and my therapist haven't been able to help me. I think it was too much stress from too many areas. In the past two days my appetite is coming back which is a good sign. Some days I would just have coffee. All food turned me off. I have been without any motivation. The thought of the ER is really upsetting...this is a chronic condition and so much of it is triggered by lack of money.
What is the SOS Forum? I did a search for it but couldn't find it.

Default sorry to hear of your troubles

Dear Bobby,
I apologize if this is a dumb question, but have you had basic blood work done in the past few months -- like thyroid, iron, . . . .. ? Maybe it would be good to get a check up.

Sometimes, something chronic can turn acute.
I hate to think that you are beyond help.

I am amazed at your coping skills.
That is great that you have a bipolar friend that you talk to every day and it is great that you are keeping in touch with the pdoc and the tdoc.

And I am happy to hear that you are eating again.
Food and sleep are good.

I've got nothing to say about money.
The state of stock market is beyond any words at this point. I wish the market was good and I wish that people had money for what they want.
Worry about money can be debilitating.

(((mymorgy)))...mari has a really good point. You really should have a good check up, espcially your thyroid. And when they test it make sure they do a TSH, a complete work up. If this is your problem the Ad's wont get it, and it is dangerous. Since you are already dx with a mental health issue it could very easily get overlooked. And believe me you don't want it to get worse. Please call your doc, and get it checked. SOS is the survivors of suicide forum.....
