Default How about a Sunday/weekend check in....

Hi, Lets have a check in........................what did you do on Saturday and what are the plans for Sunday? How are you feeling?

I went to the pool yesterday for a little while, where I live it's still summer through Oct. Talk about feeling like a 3rd wheel, now being solo, is a crappy feeling. Guess, I best get used to it. Old Maid Ville here I come, sometime I feel like a hermit since this all happened.

Sleeping is way off, finally got up at 4am. Pain in my head and neck are doing me in. Plus my mind won't let me let go of things in my mind enough. Plus the depression has kicked in. I am not sure what I am going to do today, I suppose it depends on the weather. I know I do have to clean my bunnies and cockatiels cages.

Dogs are enjoying their big smoked bones I bought them, they should last for awhile.

Tomorrow I have my PCP appt. Tuesday is Court. Thursday is meeting with Domestic Violence counsler. My P-doc appt. is next month.

Ok, I am rambling on....................Oh it's a Football day, well my Dolphins lost the other night, boo hoo......

Hi Nikko I'm glad you found the new forums, and it's good to see you again.

What did I do on Saturday... I watched NYPD Blue re-runs on CourtTV, worked a bit on my artwork, then my back got mad at me for doing artwork so i spent the rest of the day on the couch, and in the evening hubby and I watched the nascar race.

For today the plans are to scoop the litter box, try working on my artwork again, watch movies on TV, keep an eye on the football scores because I entered an office pool from my husbands office, and just relax.

How am I feeling.... Mentally pretty great. My moods have leveled a lot since the docs started treating the physical stuff that they now blame for the mood swings. My anxiety has gone up a bit recently (it was through the roof while braintalk was down and I had no support group) but I have had high anxiety since I was a child, so I'm used to it. Physically I'm doing better than I was. I don't feel physically great, but I do feel better and able to do more things recently, so I'm happy with that.

I'm glad you started a check-in thread Nikko. It's such a great way to keep in touch and to stay up-to-date on how everyone is doing.

Good morning!
saturday...we ended up having our oak tree trimmed in the front yard.
WE had not planned this..the same guy who trimmed it 3 years ago was in town.....
Well he trimmed it all right it looks naked now...very scarey...our poor tree..our neighbor just kept trying to reassure me that it will grow back.
Also trimed a tree in the back yard that jasmine had been climbing....30feet up this tree...it sure was pretty when it bloomed.

today we are going to the FROG festival!!!!
Live races and jumping contest!!!
WE will gt to do some cajun dancing as well....sounds like fun.

Default yesterday, today

yesterday we hauled boxes over to my parents' what else is new. third trip. probably 3 more to go. when i got home i collapsed (slept).

later i actually got hungry and managed to eat a little more than usual. much later i actually attacked the biggest - heaviest box of books i had to do. to do that i had to get over an irrational clingy notion that since i had used THAT particular box to ship my mugs from CA, it had to have the mugs go in it again... they fit just right, sigh. but the box was real strong and perfect for that set of books. somehow exhaustion and frustration overcame irrationality and i packed the dern thing so there (whew)!

today i slept real late. played a stupid game on the pc it is 1.5 mins long and you pretty much just shoot things. it distracts me and also wakes me up a bit. i looked at the forums a little. wrote a couple emails.

now, i have just finished my LAST TWO boxes of books. one was my "childhood" books or other cherished readings and i cried right throughout that one.

now i have to note the box numbers in the book inventory. The inventory was already done from CA. Rather essential for the books.... if i really desperately need a book from the dern garage i don't have to open and dig through 12 boxes with a flashlight to find it.

highlight of the day: I stir-fried some yellow and red peppers with onions. and actually made steamed rice and ate them. it was very nice and very light, and felt good.
