Good picture of the pyramid at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maslow's_hierarchy According to Maslow writing in the 1940s about the Theory of Human Motivation, people need food and shelter and safety and security before they can benefit from other aspects of living like love, achievement, self-actualization. Thanks for posting this Mari. I can see it's really drawn out and has many levels to it's heirachy. Good information and helpful to me in the situation I'm in.
