Lightbulb Lamictal progess

I am now on 75mg and I am doing so well it is amazing. I have been put on the generic brand and regular and I really did not notice the difference at all. So I am doing well. One issue is I have to take it ON TIME everyday. OR ELSE.....IBS!
I failed two classes and I have not thrown fits or bite myself for a few months now. It does not feel like it is the end of the world. That is a big difference to me. However, on these meds I have lost about 8 pounds. Oh and my menstrual is so messed up. It is like I am not having them, or it is very light. Like birth control pills. In which I am not on any at all. Sooo
What is up with that?

Red face

glad that you are doing well on the lamictal titrateing up think how good you may feel at the recommended dose of 200mg!
I am sorry about the classes...School may have to wait for a while until you are more stable...or maybe a community college.
hang in there...the holidays can be tough, especially for people with mental health issues.
((((HUGS))))

Hello, Fever,

That's good that the Lamictal is helping you.
Probably it's good to let the pdoc know about the menstrual cycle.

Hi,
That's good news. And a relief
Some meds like Wellbutrin do mess around with the cycles - but I don't know about Lamictal.

Ok I just lost 2 more pounds from this medicine. I am 5'3 and I weigh up to 128.I used to weigh up to 138 so now I have lost ten pounds. But it did not do this until I got up to the 75 mg. I have a loss of appetite, but I still eat. Just not everything unfortunately I like I used to. I will call my pdoc When I see her again. I feel fine just starting to lose my cake. lol
