well a quick check in,
I miss you guys!
I am going to participate in an interesting workshop this weekend.
called the heroines journey. should be interesting.
My book called the intimacy factor jsut arrived today...so more reading material.
that is what I have been doing, also watching LOST season 4 which we jsut finished. and are hooked up with the new digital converter box so we will be able to watch the new season!!!!
busy working and playing catch up from the holiday break.
I see that we all are waiting for spring this has been a cold winter for all I think, supposed to be in the 20's tonight and tomorrow, very unusual!
I will try to catch up on a couple of threads, 10m inutes is not much time...know that I miss you.

The repair man did not do a good job of fixing the problems with our computer. WE still had problems when we came home, $170 later and still problems....ugh!
Hubby was able to reinstall programs and other things to finally allow us access to the internet. although we can't load avaste which is our anti virus ware, he had to go in safe mode and do all sorts of things....I am so glad that he understands this stuff.
So for now, We have access, but I am very leary.

Better post this before it crashes.:o

It's great to see you here :) :) :)

About your favorites... did they rebuild your machine from zero? (reformat drive and reinstall the operating system?) the fact there was still stuff wrong renders me suspicious that perhaps this was not done... in which case, there is hope.

if the OS was not re-installed from scratch i may be able to help you/Jeff dig your favorites out of obscure places in the registry. find out what they did if you're not sure, and let me know, and we'll take it from there.

i've lost bookmarks/favorites in the past... i *HATE* thattttt!!!

It is good to see you back with a computer -- even if the computer seems to be kind of limping along.

Jeff is taking it back to someone new, don't know if the old guy reformated the computer or not though I know he reinstalled the OPerating system hence all of the work that was lost etc.
Jeff tried to run a registry cleaner (easy cleaner), the computer won't shut down.
the fire wall is not working on service pack 3, some spooler subsystem application error message. so there is alot going on.
Big thing that hubby is concerned about is the stop message with blue screens that say: 0x0000008E system error, research suggests there is a problem with the RAM modules. He doesn't think that David ran a memory test though he said he did.
I think I will post this in the computer forum.
