Trig Seroquel? Emotional numbness?

I'm starting to feel this numbness that I've never felt before. I have no excitement, and no joy. I don't enjoy my hobbies. I don't have energy to get motivated. I'm wondering if my family problems are causing this. My Dad doesn't want to see me. I'm in this long wait for my SSD Hearing. All of these problems with emotions have been going on for decades.

My sister wants to move me out. The economy looks bad. I've been on Seroquel for several months, and maybe thats it. Maybe it's a certain kind of depression that I'm not use to. Is it shock? I saw my mental Health case worker, and there's no place for me to move yet. I just hate having to tell everybody this. BF

Dear Friend,

I don't have any answers about whether this is med related or not, but I want to tell you that I am sorry that you are feeling this.

It sounds like you are in a waiting mode -- waiting to see what will happen with housing and SSD. That waiting is difficult.

Mari

Default Mari

Thank you. I think your right. I'm in this awful waiting situation, and there's nothing that I can do about it. I think that the numbness is a combination of seroquel, rejection, and not hearing any good news in a long time. Thank you Mari. BF

BF...

How much Seroquel are you taking now???

What you are describing sounds like depression. Are you on an anti-depressant?? What and how much???

Just wondering....

Default Hi abbie

I'm taking 300 Mg's of Seroquel before bed. I've been at that level for a month in a half. I take 150 Mg's of Luvox for the OCD in the morning, and 100 Mg's before bed. I take 0.25 Mg's of Xanax 4 times a day,no more then 6 tablets a day for the panic disorder.

I think your right. It's some sort of depression,on top of the other illnesses. I've never felt this way before that I can remember. I have been deeply depressed at times, and for long periods of time, but haven't felt like this. I don't know? BF

Dear Friend,
I was thinking that too about the depression.

I wish that you were getting better med treatment.
