i hope your weather improves soon too, Mari, and of course, everyone that is knee deep in snow - ice - slush.

Waves Me too. I become depressed some years during the very beginning of Spring. I remember my dad saying some people get depressed during the fall. Then he said you get depressed during the Spring sometimes. BF

Yes, depression can come in the fall or spring.

I think for some people its the change in things. Just like we
have anxiety with change.

Default fall and spring, huh? weird!

me, in fall, i am more at risk for mania! it's like, some years when the leaves "turn bright colors" ... so do i... LOL.

i don't ever remember being depressed in fall, other than once when i was depressed for a whole year... ugh.

spring i've had some real doozy downers though.

that said, i don't follow a stable, predictable seasonal pattern like SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) or anything.

i think there's some merit in the "change" theory... spring and fall are seasons of change... makes sense somehow.

In the Spring,is when my allergies get worse. I think allergies bring about some depression with some people. BF

I become more active and happy in the Spring and depressed in the fall.
