It's going to be around 0* by me tonight and not warm up above freezing during the days. I hate this bone chilling cold. I'd love it to be lower 60*'s though.

94 degrees
Hi,
It was 93 degrees F at 1:30 pm when I was at CVS. It got up to 94 and 65% humidity. I felt the heat today -- the A/C in tdoc's office was out. You could say that we had a HOT session. I'm in a general grouchy sad mood. M. |
We had summer in April, I actually put the AC on. Now it's been raining and cloudy for over a week and more rain tonight. Doesn't help my mood much, I need sunshine. :(
|
I am sorry you are sad today Mari.
(((((HUGS)))) beth It was hot today and will be this way the rest of the week, 100's for heat indexes...our poor grass |
Rain Rain go away. ITs time for sunshine in Indiana.
I'm so tired of the rain. It rained most of May and now has done so in June. I am not enjoying all this rain. I need to find a hobby and also figure out why I feel so tired when it rains. Donna |
I just want the warm weather back...it has been cool and cloudy....I do best hot and sunny.....I don't feel like doing anything when it is gloomy

My hobby transmitter antenna in a tree in the back yard got struck by lightning about a week ago. My power went out for a day,and the phone went out for two days. It was a power surge.
The antenna was blown into smithereens. It had a fiberglass shell around it that looked like shredded hay,and it was all over the place. Some of these fiberglass shreads where sticking in the ground like arrows shot into the ground, right under the tree. The lightning didn't come into my radio room because I had thirteen ground rods grounded to the antenna,so the lightning went right into the ground. I also had my antenna wire in a mason jar filled with rubber, like the rubber of a tire. I had the radio's grounded with four ground rods. So no lightning came into the house. I have another antenna that I will use. I'm not going to put another one in the tree for many reasons. If this was too technical,I apollogize. BF:hug::hug::hug: |
Dear Friend,
That sounds like a spectacular lightning strike! I'm glad to hear that you and your radio are ok. M. |
Thank you Mari
It was a direct hit. The lightning did not come down through the coax from the antenna. Thank God. The lightning went into the ground.
I heard a explosion up above, and so did the other person who lives upstairs in this house. BF:hug::hug::hug: |
