Default Weekend Check-in: Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009

Hi,
This is a good place to give us your update if you choose.

My sleep pattern is slightly better than it has been for the past few weeks. I have set backs, but I also have good enough days and that is a marvelous thing.

My mother was a terrible housekeeper when we were growing up (she's fastidious now). She used to make jokes that she left little jobs like cleaning up the kitchen for the "house fairies."
I think I need some house fairies. I have a few spots in this apt that would keep them occupied and would help them feel fulfilled.

Here is wishing you all a good weekend. Spend it on yourself.

Talking Eeeeekkk!!!

Mari,

those icons are making me squirm! i feel so horrid for not helping my mother more. i do try when i have energy or impetus (even without energy, lol) or am asked. i offer stuff too but there is a control issue i think, which i understand, but...

when i lived alone i could have used house-fairies too... the only thing i think i've ever had is goblins. goblins and black holes. see things disappear. things that i have a lot of like pencils and lighters... would gradually dwindle. and i mean MECHANICAL pencils and brand new lighters..... my theory was the goblins would come out at night and toss a couple things in hidden black holes in my apartment. i have yet to be disproven. that theory has "reigned" since i was about 20.

house-fairies would be such a welcome addition. maybe they could sort out those goblins and their dens of pens.

anyway, i am here. just having coffee and seeing what's up. i figured you might have started a check-in

right, now with my coffee, i'm going to check out that emotional freedom site. both my parents are out, but my dad will be back in only half an hour.

i am glad your sleeping patterns are improving and you are having some decent days here and there. little by little hopefully things will continue on this road.

you too have a great weekend!

~ waves ~ with well wishes to everyone
