Default For the ladies: Cleaning out your purse how often do you do it?

My purse is always full of receipts and I tend to leave them there for ages. I am just curious as to the frequency you clean your purse out. I think I go about four to six months at a pop without cleaning it. It's frustrating to me because I know it's wrong to leave it full of receipts and junk mail but I hate dealing with it.

So is your purse a source of frustration like mine or is a a nice accessory you get a lot out of? Tips are welcome, and greatly appreciated.

Hi,
My tdoc got involved in my purse situation a few years ago.
I was carrying a purse and then lots of other things in my hand. She said that I needed a bigger purse to put everything in.
I decided that maybe she was right.
My purse is huge.
It's got all kinds of junk in it that I think I ''need."

About once a week or two when the receipts get annoying I pull them out and and put them on the pile with my other junk. I hate to be at work and reach in the purse for something and then have recipts fall out.
Eventually I get around to throwing out the receipts.
So it is a 2-step process.

Acutally, my purse is one of the more organized aspects of my life.

As for a full out cleaning -----> not very often.

Thanks for posting Mari, that's pretty frequent for the receipt pulling, but I totally understand the need to. I usually go a month before I get to the point where I need to yank out the annoying receipts. As for the full on cleaning that too is something I don't do very often either. I thought others would be interested in sharing their purse rituals, but I guess it's too personal eh?
