Default We change clocks one hour ahead this weekend

Hi,
I'm posting this while I remember.

Saturday night at 2:00 am we move clocks ahead one hour to 3:00 am.
We loose an hour of sleep and start Daylight Saving Time. It will be light longer in the evening.

M.

Oh No!

I just saw the title of your thread Mari, and I hope you don't mind me dropping by, but if your clocks are going forward to spring, then our's are about to go back for autumn/fall. That means winter is on it's way for the southern hemisphere!

I do so hate the winter months ....... especially as I blinked and missed summer this year.

I hate spring forward. I hate fall backwards, I just wish they would leave the time situation alone, it gives me awful sleep issues.

Exclamation

Mari, thank you for the reminder. as i definitely never get all the sleep i need, and i'm disabled, and live alone, the only trouble this changing the time non-sense causes me is changing all my clocks: watch, microwave oven, sound system, vhs magnetoscope, stove, alarm clock, kitchen clock, bathroom clock, car clock... fortunately, the computer clock will change by itself automatically, as well as the one on the telephone (when a new call will come in)

Mari

Thank you for reminding me. I went to bed in one time. Got up and
said. Oops its 10:00 o'clock not 9:00 and went in to warn my husband.

Next I changed my watch and my alarm clock. My computer changed
itself. My cell phone and derrick's off course are right.

I can't reach the clock in the living room, so unless Derrick gets tired
of it being off a hour. It will read the same, next fall when its then
right.

THe clock on the oven needs to change I'm guessing, but then I'm
not sure about that. It might be right, It might not have gotten
changed before.

Hmmm, I think thats it for clocks.
