Default For those who write -- journal looking for submissions

Hi,

Invisible Journal is looking for submissions for its april 07 edition.
I don't know anything about the journal (it looks new) but I thought I would share.

from its web page
Quote:
Invisible Fire is a journal, which consists of artwork, photos, poems, and short stories/memoirs/rants for those with a mental illness or a relative of someone with a mental illness. Contributors retain the copyright to their work and will sign a formal contract if their piece is chosen to go into the journal. Contributors can choose to publish under their true name or a pen name.

Invisible Fire will be distributed online, through national mental illness research and support groups, to the APA and other organizations for psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers who practice therapy. It will be a broad audience.

It is special to a publish a journal from the point of view of those directly effected by mental illness. This will strengthen the consumer/patient population, letting other people with mental illness know they are not alone. It will help the professionals who help us by truly getting into our heads.
