Hi all

Derrick's prom was yesterday. And it was so cool. His girl Sarah, her
mother, myself and Derrick went out to dinner together. Then they
got dressed in there prom clothes. And went to all the places ahead
of time that they needed to. Her grandma and grandpa had come
to see them. Her other grandma was a stop. Derrick's aide's family
was a stop.

Then our house for my husband to take pictures. Then for my mother-in
-law to see them. Then off to the prom. Were his teacher came to
see her kids. And all. They then got into their Hawaiin clothes and
went to a area with a band and a bunch of games, for the after prom.
Wow, once again it was fantastic for them. They got a gift or two.

And Derrick won a gift certificate too.

They brought Derrick home at 2:30 am in the morning so I was up till
about 3:00am. But I kept waking up. Seems a mom can't keep asleep.

Today I returned a tux, and did some running around.
Had a quiet day.

Gee both days this weekend a waste for me, up all night untl about 8:30 am and then slept until 4 PM.
DD did not have a good schedule and I could not get her to fall asleep. She has a lot of school work to catch up. Reports, experiments for science. Language reports even one for Art. It is all overwhelming.

My De's birthday would be this week. She was born on Mothers Day so I have aanxiety rate of somewhere between screaming/and/crying.
The township clean up is this week too, every year this week and I still have so much to get rid of....I have gone thorugh very little of her items. Cabinets are empty except boxed food and cans.

LOTS of clothes, tons of it....and all of her dolls and angels I have my own .stuff to clean out and make room. I could use a dumpster here actually.
Enough venting Everyone have a nice week.

Dear Di,
I'm sending lots of hugs.
These kinds of anniversaries are hard.

Default Hi Blue

Hang in there. The Media has terrified the public in your area. The DNA in this strain may not spread like the regular flu. Now we are going to have to live with what hundreds of people are going to say about this Flu,trying their best to scare us out of our wits. They love to hype everything, and say the worse possibilities that they can immagine.

They have distracted the News we where learning on the war crimes. How timely. Makes me wonder. BF

Hi, Friend,

Try not to watch the news for a few weeks.
Or limit yourself to 30 minutes a day OR something that works for you -- but put a time limit on it.
When I watch tv I tune in to PBS at 6:00. They stick to facts.

I get most of my news off the Internet -- no sound so it is less emotional. Even then, I only read the headlines and click on two stories or so.

It's normal to react emotionally when the tv puts it out the way they do.

And for crying out loud a high school and a middle school were closed in my part of the state because of a suspected case? How about just keeping the people with suspected cases home and leave the rest of the kids in school??

=-=-=-=-

I just spent almost 30 minutes on the phone getting help to log on to my bank account. I have no idea why it was so hard for me. I let the guy on the other end of the phone know that I was stressing and told him to stay with me and thanked him throughout.
The two of us finally worked it out.
But after I got logged in, I was only able to do one thing -- the other page is down until morning -- one of the draw backs of trying to do stuff in the middle of the night.

=-=-=-=-
I am going to make it a goal to find ways to reduce general anxiety. It is just banking. I can deal with numbers if some one helps me.
I did do it.
I managed.

Death breaths.

Good night everyone.

Have good days tomorrow.
