Hi Donna,

things are okay, I just about am back to where I should be with my Abilify. She won't go up past 20 mgs though. And as I suspected she wants me to wean off the lorezapam. Go onto Buspar, but I have a good weaning amount of the lorezapam but not experience with Buspar. I started perimenapause dang it. And I feel really old with all my white hair. I should have colored it today but I worked out instead.

First time in half a year that I worked out. It hurt a bit but you gotta do what you gotta do for lifestyle choices to be second nature. Thanks for asking about me Donna, I haven't felt up to posting a lot, I read daily, but just haven't had anything spectacular go on to motivate me to post. We ordered the heavy punching bag we're going to teach Jackie to use it and hopefully vent some of that physicality onto something productive. If we can keep him from breaking his hands on it. Worried about that, but his father will be putting it up and taking it down so we'll get into some kind of routine.

I hate being fat, but I have actually lost twenty pounds last year and this year, I am holding my own and not gaining. But it's still not encouraging because I know without working out holding my own isn't enough anymore. The soccer ball thing was working out good but Jack had a tooth pulled this week and so he's not been up to going outside and being physical yet. But it is a good thing we are doing with him. They let him walk on the school's treadmill for 10 minutes a day. He seems to like it.

Hope things are better for you. How h ave you been, your health improved at all? I remember you were having such a terrible time with dizziness and not feeling well last year and beyond. Hope it's getting easier or meds are helping. Thanks for caring hun. I am so grateful for my Nerotalk friends. You guys all make a big difference in my life.

Thumbs up Hi Pam

Well...

a lot going on you have actually.

great job on the weight loss, i can't seem to budge.

and on the working out. i can't seem to budge there either. (i have privacy issues.)

i hope the punching bag works out for Jackie. for his hands, have you thought about getting him gloves, or would that be asking for trouble in case his focus got distracted from the punching bag and... onto other "objects" including... say, you... ? i dunno.

anyway. just saying hi and wanting to dish you out some kudos. keep up the good work!

Thanks waves.

A pair of gloves and hand wraps are included, so we're good there. And he won't just be able to go up to it and randomly hit it, it will require Dad putting the bag UP onto the hook and getting him the gloves. I think it's gonna have a positive impact on Jackie's state of mind.

Thanks for saying hi hun, I think about you often and hope you're doing well.

Dear Pam,

It is great to hear from you.
Maybe you should post about once a week and remind yourself and the world that you are 20 lbs down from a high two years ago. That will always be fabulous news!!

And good job on exercising.
You are inspiring.
I need to pick up my pace a bit and make exercise a serious part of my day / week.

Pam

Good to hear from you. And I really hope the punching bag works.

I've been doing pretty good healthwise other than my plantar's facitus.
Which has flared bad today. But lots of walking with the track meet
for Derrick today.

So hopefully soon better.

Default Dear Donna,

Dear Donna,
Do you have a good podiatrist? Or similar?

At one point I had heel spurs. I think that they come and go. (Mostly go now. They come back if I am under stress -- doesn't make sense that heel spurs would be related to stress, but that is my experience. )
I had one podiatrist that gave me a very good at home physical therapy routine.

Another one told me to only wear Birkenstocks so that is what I do -- except for long walks or gym I wear SAS sneakers.

They offer good support.
Their regular shoes stink for people who need support -- that is what the podiatrist told me.

Thanks Mari

My podiatrist seems to be very good. I've been working on finding the
right shoes. And I have a home physical therapy routine. And then
my therapy at the hospital. But it at times gets bad. ITs been really
bad at times and then it will get better.

Congrats on losing 20 pounds Pam. It sounds like hard work and you should be proud of yourself. My PT is ending this week, insurance is cutting me off, but my therapist gave me some exercises to do on my Wii. I hope I can do them.
