Okay I'm not explaining good.
But for some reason meat doesn't taste good very much right now. But I am trying to eat either chicken or turkey on salad. Or trying to have tuna or chicken or egg salad. So I'm working on it. I am having like a cheeseburger or something once a week. But that is really good for me. I love those things. And I am watching my amount of pizza. I was doing lots better dieting when I was staying on the carbohydrates diet better. But its just to hot. I'm not eating enough foods. I am drinking plenty of water, but need to cut down on diet pop. And have to locate a alternative, besides milk. So I'm working on it. Donna Top it off my 6 foot kid is losing it seems right now he is 149 pounds. |

Hi,
Hubby got out the juicer yesterday. Here is my recipe: - bag of carrots - 1 apple - 5 cucumbers - bunch of kale - bunch of swiss chard We had some for two days. He wants to make it again next week and make a larger amount. I went to the gym and the sauna tonight. I felt good about that. M. |

Ok, I need help....
I have been drinking 1.5 liters of water, eating 1,000 calories per day and Im still gaining weight There are no clothes that fit me, I mean, I stay in my pj's most of the time.... What should I do !? Exercise ?? Im in pain all the time plus Ive always hated exercise to be honest.... Im not taking medicines now.... I have like 40 extra-pounds.... HELP !!! |

I think they recomend at least 1200 calories a day.
also small meals thru out the day so less chance of being hungry, more protein to help stabilize your blood sugars. The meds that you were taking...that is if you were taking them could have caused your weight gain, some meds can do that. I fell off my diet completly so my motivation is not there....I nedd to get back on that horse, my scrubs were fitting better so I loosened up then fell off completly. I have been drinking really good(fattening ) beers which doesn't help. beth

Hoping my story will help you. This is a honestly to good story.
Before I realized I had developed diabetes, this last year. I wanted to lose weight so much. That I joined a health club, ( I go some), I walk also, I also did physical therapy instead of the club), I drank lots of water, I always drank diet coke, or something that had no calories, tea or lemonade with sweetener stuff. I also didn't drink milk, for some reason I was told milk was going to make me fat (ugh hubby) bad advice. Anyway I was trying to do a 1000 calarie a day diet. I was gaining bad. And when I learned I had diabetes I had to start eating better. And more. But the really interesting thing was along with having my gallbladder and other surgery and eating like a pig in the hospital. I seemed to loss weight by eating a 1500 calorie diet. So when I started eating the right amount, and then when I took the classes, and found out I had to drink milk. It turned out I lost even more weight. Not just 2 or 3 lbs. But I've lost almost 30lbs to 35lbs. I am not sure even I believe it yet. I used to envy the people who had the weight loss lines, but now I just wish I could do one. My new goal is 200. It was my original but I've hit 220. And I'm a little proud right now. Donna |
