Hi folks,

my sleep is way messed up... trying to do time gymnastics by which i can make an early morning, long trip out of town and back the sooner the better. deadline coming up now, and it's making me nervous (not the trip, the reason.) i can't wait till this thing is over i hope that settles me down.

so i'm uptight and exhausted. only caffeine can keep me awake when i'm supposed to, and when i'm supposed to sleep i'm lucky if sleep meds give me a few hours at a time.

my eyes feel like they will explode, i'm sleepy at all the long times, i mean wrong times.

anyway sorry if i'm a bit absent from the threads right now. I'll try to stop in bit by bit. it was quiet for a while and now i see replies and gosh darn... I'm wiped.

i need to rest a while...

Hey thanks to all of you who posted.
I haven't had the energy to post till today but it was nice to stop by and see that you guys were thinking about me.

i concluded my legal trip. whew. i continued to shred fingers afterwards however...

i am still tired, but have increased my daily benzo by another .5 mg. probably for a week just till i get used to not eating my hands any more.

i am consciously having less caffeine.

plus needing actifed which makes me sleepy, despite the formula having pseudoephedrine in it.


and migraines every day... agghhhh. today only occasional hints. so far so good.

i am now sleeping nights but only 2 hrs at a time. i am also napping days and still zonked most of the time.

the BT crash stressed me out.

also i'm concerned that this is too much Wellbutrin for me.

When i was out on my trip i felt... weird... like i had an unnatural inner push that wasn't mine, like being possessed or something. Plus bouts of racing thoughts verbal and non... and irritability... although environment really contributes.

Since in this lovely country there is only:

150 mg Wellbutrin (XL) qd OR
300 mg Wellbutrin (XL) qd

and Depakote inhibits Wellbutrin metabolism ... hahahahahaha ... i have two choices:

DECREASE to former dose of 500 mg of Depakote...LOL... hoping for increased metabolism / faster clearance / less effect. SIGH.

--- OR --- (it gets better)

INCREASE the to a full gram of Depakote hoping the enzyme inhibition has bottomed out, so that the anti-manic effect counters excess activation by the Wellbutrin.

If however there is further enzyme inhibition, i could get more OR less manic, depending if the Depakote effects outdid the increased Wellbutrin effects or viceversa.

I will probably stay put unless i keep having bad migraines, then i will take more Depakote for that and see what comes.

only time will tell... can't call pdoc... he is away plus we've talked and not he nor anyone can know the answers to this stuff as it is highly individual.

Sure, labs could help. But they don't have the test HERE for the relevant Wellbutrin metabolite, and if they did, they wouldn't let me do it often enough to adjust med dosages within reasonable time frames.
