Red face still needing a shower... and my hair, ugh.

i'd be satisfied... at least for a while...

if only i could do once a week.

i must say i do manage get certain parts clean by other means. it helps that the bathrooms here do have an added amenity for washing body parts. so between that, the sink, i am safe in certain areas.

but the whole body surface i end up doing damp washcloths, first with body shampoo in it and then with just water. or with wet wipes.

thank goodness for wet wipes.

my hair really really really needs washing badly right now. the rest of me has been in some manner relieved of major gunk. especially as it is hot. it is uncomfortable when skin 'cannot breathe."

as far as priorities/all the things i have to do, well gosh. it makes sense but in my case, there isn't much i have to do. so i feel like i oughtta at least be doing this "right."

the last time i took a shower, i sang in it... like i always used to. that helped. i think i will need to start doing that again.

Trophy Just had shower!!!

I did it!!! Finally!!!

I'm all squeaky clean from head to tippy toe!

With hair washed and conditioned!

Oh... and i DID SING in the shower...

DURING QUIET HOURS, to boot!

I am wondering if a little more transgression might not be what i need in my life to get me up and going... hmmmm.

I am going four days and then forcing myself to take one. It's such a PITA, I am sick of it but I know I have to do it.

Awesome waves! I bet you feel a lot better, if only that clean feeling lasted longer...LOL!

Default Why is showering hard

Hi

I haven't been here long and I don't understand this thread. Why is showering hard. Are you depressed or do you think it's difficlut because of the meds you are on? Just wondering.

Thanks, Pam

Red face Hi Pam/Coach

Ummm...

I don't know if you read the entire thread? Various things are brought up in all the posts as to the difficulties each of us have... some are different, some in common. I guess i could try to sum it up as overwhelming? But i don't know that that would make any more sense to you than it being hard. Also some of us do have specific difficulties.

I don't know if that was very helpful.

Thanks for reaching out and trying to understand.

Thank You, Mari. I know that feeling well, and it's comforting not to be the only one! Your reasons may be different than mine, however. I am brand new to this chat and don't know even how to operate it. But your message spoke to me. You did good!
