Smirk Trike is here! Now to get it home from Walmart!

Cross your fingers for me that it fits! It's a HUGE box and I'll need help with it to get it to the car, but once home Jack will start to assemble it and I can't wait to see Jackie on it. I'll post when I get it home-IF I can get it to fit in the car along with my wheelchair. Which I am really afraid won't work out so well. Lord I need to get it home! Please God let it fit in the car with the seat down! Amen!

Dang, measured and I have to tie down the trunk with twine-that's the only way it's gonna be able to fit, is in the trunk, it won't fit in the back seat or the trunk with the back seat down. ANd now Jackie is on to me wanting to go get it and insists he's going when there's NO room for him, my chair will have to go in the back seat and he can't ride in the front seat-he grabs at the wheel the crazy NUT BALL!

So it looks like we're not getting it today after all. Would h ave been a great day for assembly too since it's kinda crappy out. Oh well, it's hinged on Jackie accepting me leaving to go get it and he's not cooperating.

Dear Pam,

The trike is mostly home where it is supposed to be.

When can you get it the rest of the way home?
Sunday?
Monday?

I'm still celebrating that you have it -- even if you don't exactly have possession of it yet.

I went last night around 7 pm and picked it up, we were up til midnight tryint to finish assembly. Its almost done. Somehow we lost one darn screw for the right back fender. We've looked everyhere too and its nowhere to be seen. All we have left is that fender, the seat and the basket so the rest of it is together and it looks awesome! Jackie keeps calling it a motorcycle. LOL!

Thumbs up

HOw exciting for you guys!!!!!I can't wait to hear the stories of his journies, will you be able to keep up with him???? Does it have a basket to put things in? I think I have seen them with baskets. Are you going to put a flag like thing on the back so to alert others of his comings and goings, I have seen that also, what about a horn? or is that not a good idea? maybe not.
where will you get a new screw? home depot?
I am so glad that it fit in your car.
This is great news!

Pam

You should be able to go back into Walmart and tell them that there was
one screw missing and you really don't want to return the bike. Is there
someway they can help you get the screw. I'm guessing they have
one in stock.

I'm so happy the bike is there. And I would definately put something
on the bike so people know that its a disabled person.

I don't know where I will get another screw from, but we need one for the back right fender. I probably will end up going to Home Depot weds. I hate the end of the month. He hasn't ridden it outside yet but it's obvious from how well he can get around on it in the living room he's going to do just fine on it IF we can control him-if he goes off and we can't get to him we're looking at big trouble. I admit this scares me BIG time...
