When Bobby read the inside of the card where the poem is he laughed. I don't know why but I took that as he was laughing at me. I didn't say anything though to that affect. Now that I look back I think he liked the poem.

Bobby has stomach cancer. I left before he did and reached down to hug him and he still kissed me on the check. I'm confused. He would not sit directly next to me even though we shared the same side of the booth. He did sit next to me when I invited him to. Him and I were the only ones after the other guy left. The place was getting crowded and he was talking to everyone.

Why do I not think that some guy can like me? Just becasue he was not all over me I though he's not interested. He didn't feel good today as the medicine they gave him for the MRI had him feeling ill.

He may not be in a place to get involved with anyone at this time , sounds like a battle with the cancer and might take most of his energy.

If he has stomach cancer then I think he might not want to get too involved with you, maybe he is trying to protect you and not get hurt.
He also wasn't feeling well so try to not take things personally.
You are a fine woman...and have a lot to offer in a relationship.
maybe the kiss on the cheek is to let you know he jsut wants to be friends....I don't know...
it is confusing.

Thank you two. I will find out sooner or later what will happen with Bobby. I need to get it all out of my head for awhile though.

Bobby called me today! He said the reason why he didn't call me yesterday was because he was not feeling good. I feel so much better now.

Well, I talked to Bobby again tonight. He'll be going home tomorrow after he eats in Hanks. He'll be back on Friday so there will be a long stretch before I see him. I have his phone number though and he has my email address. I told him to email me and he said okay.

Hi Mari,

I am having fun. I am on top of cloud nine after talking to Bobby twice today. I think him and I just took our frienship on the next level and that is the calling each other up level. It will be interesting to see how him and I correspond when he's back home some 3 hours away this week. In a way I think it will be good cause him and I should be on a one on one basis being by phone or email. So far it has been in a group of people in a public place for the most part.

Well, I saw Bobby in our hangout today before he left to go home some 3 hours away. We both talked with all the people in there and then we settled on just him and I talking. He was telling me about his income he gets every month. A male friend of mine later told me Bobby was trying to impress me by telling me about it all. Bobby tells me personal things about himself that he doesn't tell others an example being about how many checks he gets a month. It's almost like an interview for a mate. Bobby is cute.

From my limited experience, when a man puts his cards out on the table and tells you his income/net worth, he is very interested in getting your attention.
